We have a samsung fridge model srs610hdss the problem is when you set the display fridge temerature to say 4c it reads 11c when i placed a portable digital thermometer the lowest temp was 10c.i think the problem is the fan motor,do you agree please advice and where can i get spare parts.thanks

the normal accepted working temperature of a domestic fridge is usually between 0 and 8 degrees........the numerals on your thermostat are not temerature settings ...but a guide to coldness setting....the actual temerature must be checked with a reliable thermometer...usually best done in the morning after the fridge has ran throiugh the night without the door being opened.....
water supply valve is at the bottom rear lhs viewed from front - ie immediately where the water is connected. fault is also possibly due to the water bottle being frozen. bottle is in the bottom of the fridge. samsung are prone to this
