I lost my password my screen is locked how can I reset or bypass?

This is about topic bypass Windows logon screen. Command Prompt or recovery utility is effective ways for reset or bypass lost Windows password.

First, run command prompt with administrator. And you can reset Windows lost password with this command. Net user <new user> <new password>

Second, take recovery utility to burn a password reset disk. And this reset disk is the key to remove or reset Windows password, applied for standard or admin account. When your computer is installed with Windows 8/7/Vista, forgotten user password would be removed. If it is Windows server 2012/2008 etc, password would be reset as "iSunshare@2012".

Show to install sound device driver in windows xp ?

  • 1 Insert your driver disk into the CD/DVD ROM drive. The disk should automatically boot. Then follow the on-screen instructions. This usually entails clicking on "Install" or "Install Sound Driver."
  • 2 Download the sound driver specific to your card and Windows XP. Driver websites include Drivers Kit, XP-Drivers and Driver XP. Locate the make and model of your card. Click on the manufacturer and then select the "Download" link.
  • 3 Double-click on the sound driver. The application will go through a setup process. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Manual Installation
  • 1 Click on the "Start" menu. Select "Control Panel," then scroll to "Add Hardware" and click to open. Sometimes, the automatic installation does not work properly. You will then need to install the sound drivers manually.
  • 2 Read and use the "Add Hardware Wizard." Click the "Next" tab. Windows XP will scan your computer for components.
  • 3 Scroll down the list to "Audio Drivers" or "Sound Drivers." Then click "Next." Select the "Finish" tab. Another window will appear.
  • 4 Select the "No, Not This Time" option on the "Hardware Update Wizard." Click "Next." Choose the "Install from a List or Specific Location" button. Then click the "Next" tab again.
  • 5 Place the sound driver disk in the CD/DVD ROM. Point the "Search Option" to your CD/DVD ROM or download folder. Click the "Include This Location to Search" box. Type in the path to your download folder or select the "Browse" option. Search through the computer to choose your download application. Click "Next."

    Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-K17A

I also have an Acer Aspire 5630. When I tried to copy a DVD containing over 600 wedding photos to the hard drive using windows explorer, window reported file copy errors about half way through the photos. This happened also to another owner of another 5630.
After looking into this, I first found that I was already using the latest driver. When I went into the system device manager I next found that the driver DVD region parameter had never been set.

Once I corrected this, I was able to copy the DVD without errors.

Here is how you set the DVD world region:

    1. Start Menu, select Control Panel
    2. Select Classic View on left
    3. Double click “System” Icon
    4. On left select “Advanced system settings”
    5. Press continue if Windows asks for permission.
    6. Press Hardware tab at top of System Properties window
    7. Click on device manager button
    8. Expand DVD/CD-ROM drives
    9. Double click on HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA Device
    10. Click on DVD Region tab at top of new HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA Device window
    11. Scroll down and select “United States”
    12. Then press Ok. Reboot laptop. (Note dvd region can only be changed up to 4 times, then can’t change anymore)

Once I did this took about 5-8 minutes to copy all photos (some directories and other hidden system files still had to be skipped, but no errors now).
