I have skype active on my i phone but just upgraded my computer and cant log into skype. I cant remembermy login details. I cant seem to get these from my iphone skpe so i am kind of stuck. The email i used to set up my skype account is no longer active so i cant get the info via email?

Try to login and then select "forgot my password". They should then send you an e-mail with reset your password instructions.

At what stage does it fail to connect to your account? Does it give you an error message?

Double check your skype login details are being input correctly, try resetting your password.

Choose the log-out option in the account you are in.
Then try to log in again.
Now, the system should ask you to enter your login details.

Use the details for the account you want to use.

hi rosemary.. To get your user and password back for SKYPE. log onto http://www.skype.com or http://login.skype.com this takes you to the login page. click on either forgot Skype name or user name.
Make sure that you remember the email used during registration because that's where your details will be sent to.

1.upgrade firmware on router

follow steps to upgrade firmware on router
1.Log in to the router using a Web broswer. The URL is http://192.168.1.1 ( if you did not change the router’s IP address ).
2.Click Maintenance > Router Upgrade
3.Click Browse and find the file you just downloaded.
4.Click Upload. Do not interrupt the upgrade while the router does this step. The router reboots when the upgrade is done.
5.After the router boots up, log in the router again.
6.You MUST Reset the router to default settings after upgrading the firmware
7.Click Maintenance > Backup Settings
8.Click Erase. The router reboots when the Erase operation is done.
9.If you would like to check that the upgrade was successful, log in to the router again at http://192.168.1.1, and check the firmware version.
10Re-configure the router with the settings you saved in step 1. Optionally, You can use the Smart Wizard configuration assistant on the CD to reconfigure the router.

after all this login to router
under advance you will WAN setup there will NAT ,you need to click on open then apply

Yes near the login you can use the recover password feature, and it will be sent to your email.

If all else fails you can register a new account. Just remember your password for future use.

Right. I've fixed it!

Here's what I did.

- You need to upgrade to the latest firmware. This is available from the Philips website. Make sure you select exactly the model of your phone. There are some instructions about how to upgrade the firmware in the manual
- Then you need to perform a reset of the system. ie: get a sharp tool and ram it into the tiny little hole on the black box which comes with the phone. If you don't do this after upgrading, it doesn' t work.
- One other tip is to check the firewall settings on your router allow the traffic in/out as well.

I called the Philips service center, and they were a bit useless, but they said if it doesn't work you could try taking the batteries out of the phone for 4 hours. Hmmmm... only try this if the above doesn't work!
