I need a remote control for a Sharp TV model #

The simple fix is stop playing with the side buttons and buy a new remote for $24 :>D If you really like playing with the side buttons, open the set up and spray the contacts behind the buttons with Switch Cleaner (NOT WD40).

I can't find a Sharp gi221-u remote control. Do you mean the Sharp GJ221-U? If so, the directions for using the Sharp GJ221-U remote control will be in the manual for a television that shipped with the remote. In this case, the GJ221-U came with several Sharp TV models, including the LC-43UB30U. The manual for the LC-43UB30U is available here: http://www.sharpusa.com/Support/ProductDetail.aspx?model=LC-43UB30U . The section on the use of the Netflix button (page 3-7, page 23 of the PDF) is extremely short. It is possible that pressing certain buttons will force the TV to change the current source. That will cause you to lose your place in Netflix, if the program isn't paused first. (I know that I can do this when I watch a program from my DVR and press a channel number button on the remote control.)

Get the correct model number first and download the user's manual from Sharp. I think you meant LC-46D64U.

The mauual you can get from the internet by Googling it will be in PDF format that you can print. The remote use a Universal cheap GE is good and program with one of these codes....

I believe your TV is a LC-32SB24U, not LC-325B24U.
