Robert, sounds like you need to get to your BIOS settings... different mfg. have different KEYS to press just as your ROYAL starts to start (or boot up).
Sometimes it's the
F1 key... for others it's the
ESC or
Escape key and some use any
ONE of the other
"F Keys".
The trick is to GET THERE JUST as you see the FIRST screen flash ~ if not slightly before.
In the BIOS you should see a series of OPTIONS...
DO NOT change *any* of them ~
except the
"DATE AND TIME".
PS: It's the Holiday Season and WE give you permission to get yourself a NEW computer!

Note:
Robert, your Royal looks like a older puppy... Just know MOST systems have a BATTERY that keeps your date and time SET... even when power is disconnected. It's a good idea to change that battery every 3 ~ 5 years OR you may find yourself adjusting date and time often. That battery is called a CMOS battery.
They are about the size and appearance of a US Quarter.
