I have a Royal dm3070 I bought from a thrift store. How do I set the time and date? Is there an e-manual you could give me?

Setting the Date:

1. Enter the program mode by sliding the Control Switch to the "PRG" position.
2. Type [the 6-digit number] representing the current date. Use the format MMDDYY to enter the date. NOTE: Single. digit numbers for months and days must be preceded by a zero [0].
3. Press the [#/NS] key to store the date.

Robert, sounds like you need to get to your BIOS settings... different mfg. have different KEYS to press just as your ROYAL starts to start (or boot up).

Sometimes it's the F1 key... for others it's the ESC or Escape key and some use any ONE of the other "F Keys".

The trick is to GET THERE JUST as you see the FIRST screen flash ~ if not slightly before.

In the BIOS you should see a series of OPTIONS... DO NOT change *any* of them ~ except the "DATE AND TIME".

PS: It's the Holiday Season and WE give you permission to get yourself a NEW computer! At 73 ~ YOU deserve it.

Note:
Robert, your Royal looks like a older puppy... Just know MOST systems have a BATTERY that keeps your date and time SET... even when power is disconnected. It's a good idea to change that battery every 3 ~ 5 years OR you may find yourself adjusting date and time often. That battery is called a CMOS battery.

go to taskbar double click the time where the place they located (right side corner) select HH:MM:SS type the correct time and your problem can solve easily

i had same problem. put new batteries in and then pressed the reset button on back of organizer and it came on immediately.

I am having the same issue lost manual and just replace batteries if anyone has the manual or advise please let me know Thanks Danielle
