I want to know how to clear the error of E000004-0000 in my canon imagerunner 5000

This is a fuser/thermistor error. You may have to get it serviced, but try to reset the error code using the following:
Enter the service mode (Press "Additional Function" key, Press "2" and "8" simultaneously, press "Additional Function" key again).
Go to COPIER----FUNCTIONS-----CLEAR----ERR. Here you can reset all error codes on by one.

in this order press additional functions, 2 and 8 simultaneously, additional functions. This takes you into service mode. Then press copier, function, clear, error, then ok. turn machine off with the side power switch and back on.

the co ordinates of touch screen may have disturbed try, touching surrounding area of clear button or replace touch screen.

Just enter the service mode & try to clear it ...it will be fine

its a fuser error high temp or lower temp
try to rest this error in *28* FUNCTION,CLEAR,ERROR then on off the machine
if the error the same try to replace tem sensor

all differentserror code they have different way to clear out, sorry can't tell in here.

yours machine problems is heater section is very hard rotate so you are clean the top roller and bottom rollers by using thinner or kerosine

it s a thermistor problem
to clear the error do the following.
press additionel functionel* button & press 2&8 at a time &press additionel functionel button* select COPIER>FUN CTION>CLEAR>ERROR>OK.
