I have a motorolla 2210 modem and lynksys wrt54gs router. how can i link these two and be able to connect the internet by using wireless?(that is without the use of the ethernet cable but by airport mode?) i can't connect to the internet when i link these two and the routeer is connectec to my laptop with the ethernet cable.

In some countries, Broadband/LAN/Ethernet Wall Sockets are available for Modems to plug directly into.

In other countries, Broadband Internet services come via the telephone line and are split to avoid conflict with Telecommunications Data by using an ADSL Filter.
