Does the dell m5030 have bluetooth? i am trying to find blue on my laptop and it says to activate it using the wireles button. when i tried that it turns off the wireless

is the computer Bluetooth capable and does it have bluetooth software installed? Most times there will be a switch on the computer to turn on bluetooth or you'll have to hit a sequence of keys.
If there is no bluetooth installed or it is not bluetooth capable, buy a usb bluetooth adapter and plug it into one of the usb ports. It will come with software and drivers.
I have the same computer if you look up between >>' and insert you will see the symbol that looks like the mouse pad with an X in the middle click this button by itself and it should unlock your mouse pad.
Do you want to connect for file transfer or internet sharing throuhg the phone's internet connectivity???, first activate the bluetooth in the computer, than activat it on the phone, than in the bluetooth menu choose the correct connection type (file transfer or internet sharing)... enter the security keys respectively and voila! connection!

Most bluetooth devices require that your wifi adapter be turned on while trying to use bluetooth. You should be able to consult your owners manual for information on how this works. If you do not have the manual or have further questions, please specify the exact model of the laptop in question.

first you have to download the driver of the bluetooth device from the dell driver &utilities cd & then u can recive and send diffrent items to another bluetooth device.
