SOURCE: mackie swa 1801 power amp

You likely have other parts blown as well, but Q3 (MJE15033) AND/OR r8 (1 OHM/0.5 Watt) are blown. I suspect that Q3 has a base-collector short and you will find several of the output transistors are fried as well Q4, Q5, Q15, Q16. I suspect that the Zeners D14, D25 may be blown.

When restarting this, put a 100 Watt lampin series with teh 120 volt power to limit current and avoid destroying freshly repaired parts due to a few bad ones not found.

Just connected the SWA-4000 wireless amplified to my samsung ht-z310 - the readout on the display is "Rear Chk" there is no sound from the rear speakers- any help is appreciated

swa-4000 wireless module isn't compatible with htz310. You need to buy Samsung's swa-3000 to work with your htz310. I had the same problem. It tells you in your owners manual under conectivity where it explains about hooking up a wireless module(pg.55-60). I hope this helps.

Samsung SWA-4000 Wireless connection problem - Not connecting with main unit

I have had the same problem with the wireless unit and thought the same, it didn't work. The way to fix this is simple. You need to do the 0, 1, 3, 5 on the remote and turn on the home theatre system on the main switch on the front panel (as I was doing this on the remote, and it was failing). The blue light should then stay illuminated. If not just switch the main on/off button again, and it shoud work.
