I pod doesnt shows any memory in it .when connected to pc the device cant be detected.it may be some software problem we think so how could we solve this..

There are so many cases when people can't access the memory of the SD memory card.When you get connect with your system then it may need the driver to recognize the connected device.

The mobile phone comes with a driver or suit any thing which is associated with the mobile phone during purchase.You can install the driver and easily get access to your mobile phone and card memory both.

You can access the memory of your card using the provided cable which can solve the problem.Just plug the cable into your phone and another end should be plugged with computer.
Wait for a while if it is not coming quick as you want.If the device is not being detected the you can use the device manager utility of the windows system.
Move to the My computer icon >Properties >Hardware tab> Device manager> .

Check your connected device in the list of Universal Bus Controller and if not find then move to the Control panel and use the Add new hardware wizard.

Using Card Reader to access the files:

The memory can be accessed with one of the different methods but for this procedure you need to have another device called Card reader which is associated with a cable.

The memory can be accessed with this procedure :
1- Pull out the SD memory from mobile phone.
2- Use the card reader,insert the SD memory and plug this cable to computer.
3- Try to look, if the device is showing in the windows then it alright and your mobile phone has some disturbance regarding detection.
4- Just make the desired operation and if that is not being performed then you have to format the driver,I don't think any options is rest to try.

I found out that this is because the wrong drivers are installed.

When you install the suunto software the usb drivers are stored under C:\Program Files\Suunto\USBDriver. This contains more than one driverset. See if you can find this.


Then go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers and find your Suunto device. You probably have only one device and will miss Suunto Usb Serial Port.

Now open the deve and change the drivers, via manually select . Select browse and go to C:\Program Files\Suunto\USBDriver. Press Enter. The program will see that there is more than one driver set and offers you a choice.

Previously it has automatically selected the newest one, which unfortunately did not work in my case. Select the oldest set and the program will install the drivers,

Now you will see in Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices that you have 2 devices suunto pc pod and suunto usb serial port. And the program will run and be able to connect to the watch

ur philips mp3 player memory is infected by virus thats why it cant be detected by ur pc same prblm happens with pen drives as well.

Follow These steps connect mp3 player and restart ur pc this will help in detection.
if this doesnt work then use usb virus scan utility

Recovery Mode for Philips' GoGear
Open the Philips Device Manager (Start à All Programs à Philips Digital Audio Player à SAXXX à Philips Device Manager) and click on the “Repair” tab.  Then click on the “Repair” button to start the repair process.  Most of the time, when your player is in that state, the Device Manager will not recognize that your GoGear is plugged in.  If this is the case: Disconnect the player from the PC, and make sure the mp3 player is turned off. Hold in the volume + button on the mp3 player, and reconnect the player to your pc while holding in the volume + button. Continue holding the volume + for 10-15 seconds until a "Found New Hardware Wizard" pops up. It should recover your device if there isn't anything internally wrong with the player. Warning: this procedure will result in your songs being erased off the player, so they will have to be reloaded.

Philips GoGear Firmware Upgrade
You need to get the latest firmware upgrade from the Philips website:
1. Go to www.philips.com/support
2. Enter your country/language
3. Enter your model # SA6045 or whatever
4. Click on the link for your exact model # (the one w/o the "B" in it)
5. Click on "Software & Drivers"
6. Download the updated "Device/Firmware Manager"
7. Once installed, open the Philips Device Manager
8. Click on the "Update" tab, then the "Update" button (with your mp3 player connected to the computer, of course)
9. Your Mp3 players firmware will update automatically
If you do not have the latest version of the Philips Device Manager installed (the latest is the version from the Philips website), then clicking the "Update" button will give you a false positive saying "The firmware on your device is already up to date."

Sounds like either your motherboard is failing or your battery is starting to fail. If the battery is shot then the unit will not be able to properly connect with iTunes and will not be detected by iTunes. If you need additional support options or want to recycle that iPod, let me know.
