When suddenly giving full accelerator in honda activa, it is reducing the speed(decelerating) and again accelerating the speed. For example : i am going at a speed of 50Km , if giving the accelerator fully , it suddenly goes off and again accelerating speed.(goes down to speed of 40km and after tat it wil increase) wat could be reason for this as i have already changed the accelerator cable. But no use, same problem. it is tough to ride in highways. Actually for normal conditions.it will gradualy only increase acceleration but while giving acceleration in my activa it suddenly decreasing and increasing the acceleration Please help me wat can be done on this ?

Hi,

Sounds like you need to tune your carburetor and check the spark plug.
Try checking the CDi, replace it with an aftermarket racing CDi and compare the ignition and combustion, if it still doing that problem.

Tell us afterwards to guide you more of these problems.

Accelerator/Throttle stuck

most cable outer cases are made up of a spring section so if you bend it there are gaps that open to show the inner cable
CRC or wd-40 are quick fixes but will disperse with time and rain
However if you use lithium grease (CRC product)or spray silicon ans spray along that outer case as you flex it there is every possibility that the problem will be solved There is the possibility that if the machine has seen a lot of use in the accelerator so ot is possible that a groove has worn inside the outer case and that is causing the problem
IT that happens to be the case , get a new cable and before fitting it , if the inner cable can be pulled out , spray the lithium grease down the inside of the outer case and then put the inner cable back in it

Speedometer not working properly example traveling at 50 mph on speedometer had not accelerated or decelerated and suddenly speedometer showing 90

passenger side of vehicle, the tail shaft of the transmission has a VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor)
that is most likely the culprit, it has a 2 pin plug and a 10MM bolt holding it in.

My honda activa doesnt have pick up. when i keep in choke it runs properly otherwise. i had given it for servicing they replaced airfilter but still it is not working properly

What your doing with that sissy queen bike, get a rat rod bobber or a 5150 hard knock

does your scooter makes a loud noise, then stalls when I'm riding it. What's happening?

You're flooding the engine out. Read the manual and break it in before doing full throttle runs. After the scooter has been properly broken in, you can accelerate to the speed you wish to ride, then back off of the throttle to maintain the speed. If you hold the throttle wide-open, it will flood the engine and stall the scooter which may cause damage.
