If you have Windows XP do the following steps: Switch On your
PC/ Laptop and log in to windows. A 'System Restore' window will appear. Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are
facing the issue, try to select a date prior to that date. The detail of that particular date should show "System
Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date. 1. Open the
Start Menu. A) Click on All
Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Restore. 2. Open the Control Panel (All Items View). A) Click on the Recovery icon. A 'System Restore' window will appear. Here you will have to check
"Restore computer to an earlier time' A) Click on the Next button Now you will find a window with Dates, Description and Type, Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are

Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->Click
'System Restore'
Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time' and
click Next
Now you will find one Month Calendar window with Dates below, go to
the previous month by clicking the '
Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start and windows will take a
reboot.
After reboot your problem should be resolved.
If you have Windows 7 do the following steps:
B) Click on the Open System
Restore button.
Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start. Click on the Finish button and windows will take a reboot.
