Hi, First degauss or reset the monitor. you can select auto reset. Check the resolution setting and colour quality. check the graphics manager from motherboard display properties option. reset it properly. If it doesn't solve your problem then you have to repair the PCB of the monitor.

Might be from overheating, monitors do overheat sometimes. I had the same issue happening to one of my old monitors and it wasn't fixable unfortunately. I had to replace it and get a new one.

The only I can think of is the resolution setting that your T400 is putting out that your NEC does not like andcannot display, look at the T42 resolution when the NEC is hooked up to it and try to set it to be the same in the T400.

Signal from Pc is weak and may indficate a failing video card or a loose connection

You have to install the nec driver for this monitor. I have the same monitor. Im looking for the driver now. There are 2 versions of this monitor with the same model # . You will need to find the driver to the touchscreen model.

a blinking green light usually indicates no video signal. check your cables, and if you have another computer, try it on that. otherwise, carefully check your vga signal cable, and the connections on the neck board [where the crt plugs into]
