SOURCE: igot converting problem, please help!
Well, I use a program called SUPER. You can get it at http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html. It doesn't automatically add the file to you player, but it converts just about anything. You could also try the Total Video Converter shareware, which you can download at www.download.com. It too converts most things, but I find that it is a lot easier to use. It doesn't automatically add the files either, but you can do that by going to my computer and clicking on the player icon, going in until you find the music folder, and copying and pasting the file in there.

Hi there , in the settings menu in your player if you go into usb you can change it to msc mode and it will read as a normal usb drive so you can transfer songs etc

I solved it the hard way. I scrolled down what I thought was the language key and started pressing keys, the last one I hit was Japanese, I thought i was done for, but found the English one by chance and after that it was trial and error in down loading music from my PC, a little while longer messing around with it I finally figured it out1 It's a pretty cool device I downloaded some music and sermons and enjoy it so far. thanks for the offer to help though.
