SOURCE: Error code SE on LG washing machine means what?

It probably means System Error. Have you tried a simple reset. Pull the machine away from the wall carefully, make sure you do not have wet hands or feet, etc and unplug it from the wall. Leave it unplugged for 20 minutes. (Also check to see if it is plugged into an outlet with a little red button on it? is the button pushed in? It should be? ) After the wait, plug the washer back in and see what you have. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Front load washer had code

That would be a tE (thermister error). The thermister is located right next to or, on some models, is part of the heating element. It is nearly impossible to replace without taking the front off the washer. It is located right at the front of the outer wash tub. (just below the gray rubber door gasket)

SOURCE: LG Tromm washing machine model WM2487HWM has an

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
That's 'te' standing for temperature error/ heating error. Before you call an engineer try emptying the washer then pouring a couple of kettles of boiling water into the drum and leaving for 30 minutes then see. Another thing is to empty a couple of packets of limescale remover into the drum together with a couple of kettles of boiling water (again!) and leaving overnight. It possibly needs de-scaling anyway ;-0) If these fail it will be an engineer call, sorry ;-0(
Good luck, John C

I have a Simpson 1043 10kg top loader, it is displaying e90 intermittently before the spin cycle, e90 is supposed to be a communication error, any ideas?

If your Simpson 1043 10kg top loader is displaying an E90 error code intermittently before the spin cycle, it typically indicates a communication error between the control board and another component in the machine. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check for loose connections: Make sure all connections between the control board and other components, such as the motor and the door lock, are secure and not loose or corroded.
  2. Inspect the wiring harness: Check the wiring harness that runs between the control board and other components for any signs of damage or wear. Replace the wiring harness if necessary.
  3. Perform a reset: Try resetting the machine by turning it off at the power source for a few minutes, then turning it back on. This can sometimes clear up communication errors.
  4. Check the control board: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it's possible that there is a problem with the control board itself. A qualified technician can test the control board to determine if it needs to be repaired or replaced.
It's important to address any issues with your washing machine promptly to prevent further damage or more costly repairs down the line. If you are unsure about any of the steps involved in troubleshooting the E90 error code on your Simpson 1043 top loader, it's best to contact a qualified appliance repair technician for assistance.

Fault Showing F9 on display,

So F9 would explain why your door latch isn't unlocking since F9 means your door latch has failed to move. Ok so it sounds like your door latch may have failed.

Washer will not run

f06 OR e02 error code means you have an interface communication error. the main control board isn't communicating with the front interface control board. if you pull the washer out and remove the 3 screws coming in from the back of the top panel. the top panel will pull straight back, up, and off. check all the wire connections between the two control board and make sure they are all secure. if everything looks good, then the interface control board may need to be replaced.
f01 e02 means that your motor control board is not reading the tachometer on your motor when it tries to turn the motor. it thinks that the motor is struggling. open the door and turn the basket to make sure it spins freely.

Fisher & Paykel WL26CW1 - Error Code 49! can i swap the hot and cold valves to make it work and disconect the hot valve?? and love this site very informative, Thanx Guys..

The most common problem with AquaSmart is the pump
not the water valves
The pump has gone bad and blown some parts in the motor controller board and the fuse to the water valves.
Some AquaSmart machines display the wrong Error code (49)
witch is not the correct code for this problem.
Pump and motor controller board need replacing.
Maybe cheaper to buy a good secondhand machine.

I opened up the back of the machine and noticed that a connector was not connected to the control board, i removed the control board to get a better view of where it belonged, and slid the connector over the control board, closed up the machine and it's back in business.

Machine beeps continuously and display gives an E90 error code. What is wrong?

If this is a Zanussi washer then E90 indicates a communication error between the interface board (control panel) and the main circuit board. Unplug the machine from the power! and take the top off the machine, if you stand in front of the machine on the left side you should see the main circuit board along with a blue multi-wire cable going from it to the control panel (interface board). There is most likely a poor connection at one end or the other or maybe even both. This will generate an E90 error code. You need to remove the control panel by removing the screws located behind the soap drawer and also the plastic clips located along the top rail, disconnect the blue cable from each board one at a time and then plug back in making sure to firmly seat the connectors. These can become loose from miniscule vibrations from the machine operating. Put everything back together plug back in and it should work.

If you need to raise the washer top rom the washes base to get your clothes out see page 33 to release the washer top. Did you have any error codes to the LED display FAV6800A machine correct?

You could have a Control Board failure or a Motor Control Board failure. If you want to dig deeper into the issue let me know. If there is no error code to the display the next step (DIY) would be to read the Control Board Diag codes stored error list and see what we have.

You would need to get into Service Mode and display the Diag code list. See page 17 of the Service Manual......Rich

Kenmore Elite Top Loader "CE" error code.

CE means communications error

If there is any breakdown in communication between the machine controller and the motor controller, "CE" flashes and the unit beeps once.
Some common causes of "CE" errors include:
·Conformal coating on serial communications pins between the machine controller and motor controller. After disconnecting power to the unit, try scraping this coating off the pins.
· Check the resistance values between the serial communications pins with the connectors in place. Make sure the harness does not have a bad connection.
· Check the quick disconnect at the motor terminal. The drive motor must be hooked up properly or a "CE" error will occur.
· Drive motor thermal protector has opened.
·Motor controller is not powered or fuse has opened. Replace motor controller.

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

Electrical problem

Teecee, F11 is a communication error between the main board and the motor control board. The main board is on top and the motor control board is behind the lower panel. Sometimes the harness to these boards become loose causing this error. You would have to get at them and reseat the connections. F dl has to do with the door lock mechanism. You might of just had the door open when you reset the machine. To get at the main board on top you have to remove the 3 screws in back for the top. It will then slide back and off. To get at the motor control board, you will have to remove the bottom panel. The board will be in the back. Catriver..post back.
