How to output bin empty ?

  1. The output bin may be full. Empty the output bin. Printing resumes automatically.
  2. Take a close look at the flaps hanging out the exit of the printer. They should move up and down freely. If one of them is stuck up, broken or dislodged, then a bin full error is displayed.
  3. Open rear exit tray and power on the printer. If the printer comes to a Ready state, close rear tray and try printing.
  4. Clean the paper path below the toner area and exit assembly at the back of the printer. Ensure there is no pieces of paper stuck in the paper path of the printer.

Hp 9050 laser jet stacker error

Probably just a bad sensor or dirty sensor causing the issue.

Stacker or stacker/stapler output bins

For the 3,000-sheet stacker or 3,000-sheet stacker/stapler, the output bins are the upper bin (face-up) and the lower bin (face-down).

The upper bin (face-up) is the top bin on the stacker or stacker/stapler. This bin holds up to 100 sheets of paper in face-up order as they exit the printer. A sensor causes the product to stop when the bin is full. Product operation continues when you empty or reduce the amount of paper in the bin.

Lower bin (face-down) is the lower bin on the stacker or stacker/stapler. This bin holds up to 500 sheets of paper and can stack or staple jobs. This bin is the default output bin.

Standard output full message

I have to assume that it is empty.
Stand at the back of the printer.
At the very top, facing you is the output bin.
It's black.
There is a plastic rod that goes across the bin. It has 'fingers' attached to it that direct the paper to lay flat. It should move up and down using your finger. Make sure that it isn't jammed in the up state.
If it is free moving and you still get the error, the sensor is probably bad

Output bin is full in printer

In the middle of the paper path at the output bin is a plastic tab that can hang up. Push it down to see if this enables printing to resume.
That tab is connected to a lever that you can see when the top cover is open.
Good luck.

Dell Laser Printer M5200

There is a small flip lever that monitors the paper output. If this gets stuck it will give this message. This is on the left side where the paper exits the printer. You may also have a bad sensor but most of the time it just gets stuck.

Error OUTPUT BIN FULL. Please help tried almost evertghing.

A flag in the output bin is activated. This flag moves up while the paper is making its way out of the printer and drops as soon as the paper drops into the output bin. When the tray is full the flag will stay activated or in the "up" position instead of down. Telling you to empty the bin.
You can see this flag in the center on the delivery assembly(where paper exits). The flag should be free to move up and down. Gently see if the flag will come loose. This flag is delicate so if you push or pull to hard you will break it.
The only other way to lease this flag would be to remove the top cover and reposition it. Of course this would be a little more involved and would require a new set of instructions.
