My computer won't read the new camera I've got. Even after installing all info from cd. Have tried camera and it works on tv. It won't let recognise the device on problem either. What can I do?

Take it to a local sewing machine repair and sales business for repair.

Click start control panel administrative tools computer management then select event viewer this may vary depending on what operating system you have

extend the events there you will see errors in red you will no what exactly what the error was and at what time it occured

or click start type in event viewer press ENTER

If its under a year old, you should be able to take it back to the vendor for replacement or repair under warranty. You'll need a proof of purchase.

Go download EASEUS Partition Master 5.8.1 Home Edition (free). I've found it very useful to check and often repair drives that won't mount.

Check first if the battery of your camera has the enough power to operate while it is plugged to your laptop.
If yes and still does'nt work.
If that's brand new, you'll find two kind of CD in the packaging; one is the installation CD and the manual CD. Install the installation CD for it will load the Driver of your camera. Then try to upload you picture again.
If that's not brand new, connect to internet and download the camera driver while your camera is plugged to your laptop

Check the CD-ROM by inserting another CD before performing any other action because sometimes the lens of CD-ROM leaves work, also check the CD compatibility by abrading the hole of CD with a cutter or knife or key, do not abrade it too much. If the CD is really blank, download the driver from the internet or contact with company via their website or Service Centre.

ON THE BACK OF DVD THERE IS A WIRE OR SUM PIECE PULLED IT BY USING SOM CLIP THEN THE DVD'S DOOR OPEN EASILY..........

Probably means that either:
* no electrical power is reaching the CD-ROM drive
* no "data" is being transferred to/from the drive
* the electronics inside the CD-ROM drive have "died"

Check the "power" and "data" connectors.

If necessary, replace the drive with a new CD/DVD reader/writer.
