Problem with JVC AV-27530 27" TV programing itself...goes through the channels and will not stop.

My TV seems to be programing itself except it never stops going thru the channels. I can not stop it mannually with front buttons on TV or the remote. At times it will go to menu after being turned off for awhile and I can go in on the remote and reset. When I turn it off it goes into searching and programing the channels again. Light on timer stays on during this time. Nothing I do stops it from going thru all the channels it is as if it is time programed to do this. Please notify me with a solution if you have one. My TV will not change channels it seems stuck on channel 2 This is true with the remote and with the buttons on the set.

Try to change the channel by manually putting the numbers in with your remote. If this works then you probably need to program your channels.

You`re probably getting a on air channel which means that you have to check your cable connectors and splitter if you got any, switch with other sets if you can.

Recorded programs in english come out in Spanish

Make sure your TV hasn't been set for SAP (you'll find it in the audio settings menu). Second audio programming is often used to carry alternate languages, and if it's turned on you won't know it until you watch a program where it's being used. There may be a single button labeled SAP on the remote. If so, it's easy to change the TV setting without realizing it.

Tv changes channels when turned on.

Be sure your remote hasn't got a button stuck down which is changing channels. If not, take the batteries out of the remote. If this stops the channel changing there is probably some conductve material stuck across the circuit board
inside the remote. If this is the case you have to check inside the remote by openning it up.

My jvc av 32230 has no chanells only blue screen

what you need to do is go into the menu and select the channel program, so the tv will find any channels that are coming through the cable line. so make sure the input is set to cable and tv.

probably some cold solder joints. take your time and check over whole circuit board and re-solder what looks bad.
