Small screen box on screen

Look to see if that box has PIP--it may be engaged and if so a small picture in one of several places on the screen.

Ok, I have a half size GE 30 amp tandem breaker I want to install in place of a full size breaker to make room in my box. If I move it down one opening it will fit in, but not in the origional place of the...

Yes, but you should put in another half size breaker even if you don't use it so that you don't leave a hole in the front panel, unless you can find a half-size cover instead. I am puzzled about why the half-size breaker won't fit in the original spot. Maybe you are replacing a pair of full-size breakers that are linked together to provide 220V? If that is the case DO NOT replace these with half size breakers. Good luck.

My picture is zoomed in. Cannot go back to 'normal' and see everything. Credit names, etc are cut off on both sides.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. First of all please check your cable box settings first. Sometimes the remotes have a picture size button on them, and someone might have pressed that by accident. Check the TV settings, press Menu Button & then go to Window/Image size. Now select Full Size.

Also check the settings of the converter box (if you are using it). The boxes also have a peculiar problem: Unless users manually change settings from show to show, the picture from many stations either won’t fill the screen, or it will be so big that part of the picture is cut off by the edges of the screen. The solution is to press the “zoom” button on the remote that comes with the converter box. That will expand the picture so it fills the screen.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Ati radeon hd 2400 pro

Yes, resolution settings can be a pain, but the good news is you know how and where to change the settings.

After years of dealing with this same problem I pay no attention to what Windows recommend, but instead try many different settings each time I do a new Windows install.

And as you know, you can also change Icon sizes and text size too... So I just pick the resolution that works best and looks best 'to me'.

If you use Chrome you are in luck for Google fonts...

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More .
  3. Next to "Zoom," choose the zoom options you want: Make everything larger: Click Zoom in . Make everything smaller: Click Zoom out . Use full-screen mode: Click Full screen.
Lots of luck with other Browsers though.
