Question about 2wire (1000-400108-001) Router
SOURCE: DI-624 can't login as admin
Try connecting directly to the router with a cable as if there is a problem with the wireless connection then you won't be able to connect. If you are already connected directly then reset the unit to it's factory defaults: Locate the Reset button on the back of the DI-624 (through a small hole next to the power cable). Use a paper clip to press the Reset button Hold for about 10 seconds and then release. After the DI-624 reboots (this may take a few minutes) it will be reset to the factory Default settings. Now try to login again directly via a cable.

Hi, you will need a ethernet card in the pc to connect up a wireless router, most dont work with usb,
otherwise you would need a wireless adapter.
once you do get it connected, go into internet explorer and type in the ip adress for the router, will then come up with a menu for you to programme in your broadband details, once you get the router up and going, go into the PS3 settings, network settings, it will pick up the router all you need to do is enter the network key and its all go from there.,
ethernet card should cost you about £10 from any shop
Happy New Year

how do you want your ps3 and computer connected? do you want hardwire connection or wireless connection? if you're going for hardwire connection you just need to connect an ethernet cable to your modem and to your ps3/computer. any of those 4 LOCAL NETWORK slot will work. you would know that you would have a connection between the ps3/computer if the ETHERNET light will lit up. if you're going wireless for the computer like a laptop you just need to know your Network Name and your WEP key which you could find underneath your router. your network name by default should be 2WIREXXX where XXX is the last 3 digits of your serial number (S/N). your WEP key by default is the 10 digit key inside the brackets just below the barcode. if you're going wireless for a desktop computer you need to purchase a WIRELESS ADAPTER and configure the software of the adapter. call the manufacturer of the adapter for the steps of using their software. you just need to supply them the NETWORK NAME and WEP KEY

common to all routers were you cannot see each others in the network...
here is a work around:
1. try to do a ping test from one computer going to the others and round-robin, find which one cannot pass.
2. set a statis IP address on each cameras grasually stiking to numbers lower than the DHCP server start address. so if your IP address not is 192.168.1.100, go for a statis IP address of 192.168.1.99 and below.
3. firewalls, you may want to turn them off since you have a router, which is someone a good enough firewall for its SPI and NAT. BUT... do not turn your anti-virus off, just the firewall.
4. last resort, turn off your anti spyware, establish a communication, then start adding each computer under "My network computer" then turn it back on.
hope this helps, if you have other questions just lemme know

SOURCE: I don't know how to configure my 2wire 2700HG-B
hi there, first is you need to know the wireless settings of the 2wire first, the channel, SSID and the encryption.
once wireless settings are verified then you may try to go to the IPOD, go to settings/wi-fi/ then choose the network there/ try to connect to your network/if it will ask you for a network key, input that as well/ try to connect and you should be connected now.
