My IP4500 orange lights blinks 15 times. How do i fix this

1. Go light/button blinks twice with solid green and orange lights
2. Green light starts blinking with go light twice and then both go off
3. orange light goes off.
4. green light followed by orange light followed by go light cycle twice and a third time by the green light
5.followed by the orange light continuously blinking.

I have already tried the following trouble-shooting:

1. Put in a new cartridge
2. Made sure there is paper properly seated in the tray
3. Made sure all doors closed (I even took off left side to verify no memory cards
4. Verified all doors closed
5. Done a cold reboot by holding the Go button while turning the unit on.
6. Repeated steps 1-5 multiple times.Hope It's resolve all Your Printer Problem,

Canon ip 4500 printer reset proses:
1. Condition Canon IP4500 printer is dead,
2. Press and hold the resume button on Canon IP4500,
3. Press and hold the power button on Canon IP4500,
4. Release the resume button on Canon IP4500,
5. Press the resume button 2 times,
6. Release the power button,
7. Green Led on Canon IP4500 will blink,
8. Wait until the green led is not blinking,
9. Press the resume button 4 times,
10. turn off the printer

Hi I have a ip100 portable printer and both green and orange lights flash. Green flashes twice and the orange light flash at what seems to be a random disorder.

If the printer blink 15 times in orange need to replace the ink tank,if blink both green and orange need to replace the logic board.If a have been useful please give me a vote :).Thanks

Try pressing and holding for 5-10 seconds the button next to the light.

It has not detected the cartridges correctly or it has a waste ink problem, not sure which. Are they genuine Canon carts? I hope this helps will you let me know how you get on please?
reseat all the cartridges and read the attached which should work with the 4300 (thanks also to tech1569 for this)

try replacing the cartridges

Issue: Alarm / Power light flashes orange 5 times consecutively (Print Head / Cartridge Error)
Solution: Install the print head and ink tanks correctly iP4500
Reseat the Print Head and ink tanks iP4500
Follow these steps to reset the printer:

1. Turn the printer off with the Power button (if available).
   
   
2. Disconnect the data cable from the printer (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared) .
   
   
3. Unplug the printer's power cord for approximately 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. If troubleshooting a communication issue, reconnect the data cable (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared).
   
   
4. Turn the printer back on.

These are the instructions which worked for me on my Canon pixma ip470 bought August 08:

1) Close the print head cover, and turn off the printer. While pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press the Power button. (Do not release the buttons. The LED lights in green to indicate that a function is selectable.)

2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (Do not release the Power button.)

3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button three times, and then release the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.) During initialization, the LED blinks in green.

4) When the LED stops blinking and lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button the 4 times. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.)

5) Press the Power button. The LED lights in green, and the
selected function is performed. (When the operation completes, the printer returns to the menu selection mode automatically.

stand by light blinking orange and the TV won't come on
