How do you know for sure that the cord is in good shape?? More times than not they break in the insulation right where it goes into the strain relief on the massager.

Unplug from the power, try to unscrew and open the massager cover, check whether the electric cable is in good shape that is runing in the massager. If it is in bad shape, do not try to fix it for your self get in touch with the local electrician.

Tapping noise from engine

That could be a whole host of things. If the tapping increases in speed with rpm you are looking possibly internal but if not the problem could be something loose like the exhaust pipe.

Renault modus 05 reg. 1.6 engine management and a spanner lights up and massage says check emissions what could be the fault

Emissions are a funny thing, it could be as simple as a loose gas cap to getting into expensive repairs like replacing your catalytic convertors. Go to a local auto parts store and ask them to scan your computer for codes, they usually do it for free. It won't tell you the exact problem, but it'll give you a good place to start looking. Like the gas cap may be loose, an o2 sensor may be faulty, you get the idea?

Why is the vehicle loosing power when driving?

There can be lots of reason for vehicle loosing power , from as minor as malfunctioning of a small relay to malfunctioning of injector. The best and quickest way to check is by using a scanner or Special digital diagnostic tool. In case you don't have tools with you than you might need to consult a technician or a service guy.
In case you want me comment more specifically than you have to explain the whole process of power loss for eg. during acceleration , in which gear , at which speed. etc.

Hi i have a problem with my car, i have a ford taurus 2001 and tue battery light comes on the whole time.. and i check the battery and its good and when i drive the car the power of the car goes like...

The "battery" light does not indicate a bad battery, it means that the alternator is not putting out sufficient voltage. For a 12 V system you should be getting a little over 13 V from the alternator. You can have it checked for free at some auto parts stores or some like Sears charge to check it. It may be that you have something as simple as a loose belt. Ask your local auto parts store if they can check it or check it yourself. The belt should deflect a little, maybe 1/2" - 3/4" when pressed in the middle between the pulleys. If it deflects more than that you have a loose belt and it can be easily tightened. A loose belt will slip when wet or cold and you lose charging power. If the belt runs other things like the power steering pump you won't have enough pressure to run the power steering or it can make a strange noise.

The whole range quit working -

First thing check your breaker. if the breaker is good then unplug the stove and remove the back cover and check the power cord connection where it first connects. Check for any loose connections there. Also if your main power cord is plugged in behind the stove you could check the box for loose connections. Be sure to turn the breaker off first. If you are not sure about handling the electrical outlet then I would call someone who is.
