With an online-capable game insertedinto your Nintendo DS, turn on your system and access the game's main menu. Access the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection settings.(These settings are typically found by selecting "Nintendo WFC" fromthe game's main menu. For detailed directions, consult the manual for thegame.) At the Setup screen, tap"Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings." Tap "Connection 1 None." Clickon "Search for an Access Point." TheNintendo DS will search for any wireless networks within range. Once it isfinished searching, it will display the names of all the wireless networks itfinds. Look for your wireless network. For all other error codes, go to the Nintendo website or contactcustomer support. If the lock icon is locked and red, Enter your router's WEP keyinto the Nintendo DS Select"OK," "Save Settings," and then "Yes." TheNintendo DS will run a connection test with your wireless router. Theconnection test was successful - Your Nintendo DS is now connected online andyou can enjoy the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection features of the game! Theconnection test was not successful - If the test was not successful, you willreceive an error code. If the lock icon is locked and grey, and you wouldstill like to connect your Nintendo DS online, you will need to either changeyour router's security to WEP, or disable security entirely.
