Question about Frigidaire Affinity ATF7000ES Front Load Washer

Fridgidare Affinity washer door won't open after wash cycle

The door light keeps flashing and the door stays locked. I've tried re-running the cycle and unplugging it in theopes that it will reset. No luck

Fridgidare Model is either LTF6700FS0 or LEQ6400FS0 - I see those two part numbers listed - not sure whih is the washer vs the dryer

Hello zabbster - Typically the DR or DO error code indicates that the door switch is not closed. Make sure that the door lock is completely closed. If the door is closed, make sure the door latch is not broken. If the latch is broken, you may possibly need to replace the door lock switch.

Frigidaire affinity washer FAFS4272LA0 is cutting on by itself with no lights on, the door locks, then when I turn the knob it says 0:03 draining.

there is a problem with the control board its possibly got wet at some stage or other I would take a hair dryer to it and try to dry it out and then try plugging it in again eric

Door won't open on whirlpool duet washer frontload

Press the cancel button twice to cancel the error code. There should be an error code flashing -- for example 'F02'.

My whirpool locked light keeps flashing and wont wash

Hi

The light is flashing due to the door lock error. The door lock is activated as the machine experienced an error or was stopped in middle of a cycle. Or the door was being pulled while the machine was running a cycle. Try unplugging your washer and restart the washer to check if you are still getting the same blinking light. If error is still not resolved then start the rinse/spin cycle & stop the cycle, now press and hold the cancel button for 5-10 seconds. However, if you are still not able to get the door open then you'll need to open the door manually by disassembling the washer.

I have a front loader washer...it was in the middle of the cycle and starting beeping. The dr (door) signal is flashing. Cloths are wet and i can't get any cycle to go now. Any suggestions?

Unplug your machine.
Open the top of the machine.
Open door
Remove the door lock assembly
Check contacts of the door switch.
Replace if faulty or try to clean with electronics cleaning solvent.

Hi,
Make sure you are allowing the washer to completely finish its cycle before opening the door. It is normal for the door to lock at the end of a cycle. The locking mechanism keeps owners from opening the door before all of the water has been drained. If the door on the washer is locked, select the "Drain" or "Spin" options on the front-load washer. This will completely drain the water from the system and unlock the door, allowing you to open it.

You need the Factory Repair Manual for your Affinity Washer. There is alot that can go wrong with these machines and you will need to run the washer through its diagnostics.

Affinity LTF7000ES door not staying locked

unplug the washer and wait 5 minutes before plugging it in again!
this resets the system. If this does not work then you may have a faulty door lock, latch, or switch!
An need hands on service on location
