Typically the way to start it is push the cycle you want and push the start button then close the door.

You can get your exact model number from a label on the side of the tub inside the door and go here and download a manual https://www.whirlpool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/OCManualsLiteratureSearchView?catalogId=10561&langId=-1&storeId=10211&krypto=5QgxQhneFliXuEuX564wSQ%3D%3D&ddkey=http:OCManualsLiteratureSearchView

Drum fill with water

If your machine outlet pipe is connected to the sink trap (many are these days) it could simply be that water from the sink is draining into the washer if it is connected like this ensure that where the outlet pipe leaves the the trap it goes up and does not run level or down if the water in the is dirty this is the problem failing this water vavles are passing water when the machine is off

My Electrolux front load washer does not fill with water in the rise cycle and beeps and displays "draining, no water"

If this is a brand new product, I suggest that you MUST call for warranty assistance from their depot.
This can be related to failure or error of the controller, fault in the inlet or water level sensor which must be done free of cost.

My Duet Washer has an extreme mold smell. I have

The mouldy smell.......what else?

try adding 2 or 2 cups of Sugar Soap Concentrate then fill the machine and leave it for 24 hrs.
Then put it through a wash cycle without any clothes.

If this fails to fix the problem you are looking at a complete strip down and clean out!

Washer will not start washing cycle. Machine hums like the dryer

Check the drain for clog. If the drain is dirty, the washer won't fill, rinse, or drain.

Leaves white marks on coloured clothes

I'd try putting the machine on a hot fill wash, max water level put in half a cup of baking soda when the machine starts to washer turn it off and leave it to soak overnight, then let it finish the cycle the next day. Also make sure you tip some of the hot water down the beach dispenser and clean all around the top of the machine

Cheers

Washer will not fill up completely

  • The drain standpipe is too short.
To prevent siphoning, the standpipe must be at least 33 inches high for a top load washer or 24 inches high for a tumble action washer. Refer to the installation instructions that came with your washer for more information.
  • Drain hose fits too tightly in the standpipe causing siphoning.
There must be an air gap between the drain hose and the standpipe to prevent siphoning action. The standpipe needs to be at least 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
