HI Bethany,
The users manual is located HERE. As I look thru the manual, I cannot see or locate any reference to an "Hour Glass". If you look thru the manual yourself, you may find the answer to your query there, yet if there are any further question, don't hesitate to ask.
Please rate and comment,
Thank You
Joe

Do you mean the filter glass or the actual plasma display?
If it's the filter glass, start looking for a 2nd hand one, they are almost £500 ($600), perhaps more for a 60". They are not just "glass", they have an infra red filter film on one side and a protective film on the other.
If you mean the plasma panel itself then unfortunately a replacement screen will cost you more than a new TV. You will not find a 2nd hand one.
The exterior panel (stainless in my case) is "glued" by adhesive to a lower metal piece which attaches to the door. I know this because my front panel came unglued and there is no other means of support. I am buying a very expensive new front panel.
You can remove and clean the glass by first lifting off the scanner lid. Then pry the control panel bezel off and look for a square hole toward the front of the panel. Insert a screwdriver in this hole and press down then slide the panel toward the front of the printer. It should then lift off and you'll see a ribbon cable connected. Pull it out gently and set the panel aside. There are three T10 torx screws. Two at the rear and one at the right front. Carefully lift the glass assembly up while inserting a flat screwdriver in the left front edge to seperate. Lift the glass assembly off and clean as necessary.
if the tv turn on this will tell you that the plasma panel itself is ok. if it is ok then the fron glass is replacable. this is just a standard piece of glass so i really wouldnt spend tons of money hiring someone else to order one and install it.
