Question about VuPoint FSC1VP

Installed the JB5323 Jobar Slide & Negative Scanner into a Window's 7 Professional contained in my Dell and it will not give me all the different things it has. It won't convert the negative into a regular pic so I can download it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times.

You don't need any special software or hardware to do this, and it's really easy too! Open one of the saved image files of the negative scan using Microsoft Paint. It's under Start -> Accessories.

Now click select in at the top, and then right click anywhere on the image. At the very bottom of the menu, there should be an 'invert colors' option. Click it. Your negative should now be a normal picture =).

Most VISTA software and drivers will work with Windows 7. If you get an error trying to load it, it may be because the installer looks for the OS identifier and it is not XP or VISTA. IF that happens, you can right click on the installer file/icon, and select "compatibilty mode" for VISTA to attempt to make it work. This is rarely necessary, however.

Epson S-50/XP-Pro/ twain-approved application will fire the scanner to feed the documents, scan the documents, but will not allow the application's captured-preview window to open.
try using free irfanview and acquire the scanning from there and save or edit the output, once installed just select file, then select twain source and your scanner will be there. Much easier option than scanner software

Solved - The inside lid shows how to properly scan a negative. REMOVE the white pad on the inside of the lid so the light will shine thru the negative.

I am able to get the process of scanning to the point where I press the copy button on top of the scanner, but nothing will scan. There is a picture of 35 mm film and I am trying to copy slides. The scanner tells me it has been scanned, but no image is actually copied. Help please!!!
