Help please - last time I tried to use printer, 'on' light stayed solid green and nothing would work, however after 45mins approx it suddenly returned to normal and printed fine. Now sx115 is suddenly 'powerless' - changed cables, plug's fuse and sockets, Still wont power-up, Even left power socket on all night in case it suddenly started like last time, but it is completely dead. This has always been a very reliable machine till now.

I hope its formatter(mother board) faulty,remove USB cable, un install the drivers from the system, found new hard after connecting the printer? if its not recognizing replace formatter assm..or else display panel..Hints while repairing: Flat cable is too short between scanner assm & DC controller, before powering on verify this cable properly fit or not.. While opening the printer side covers by mistake flat cables of ADF & display plug off due to over length, if we are not concentrate on this it will damages the formatter,if we gives power(might be this issue raised in your printer)..Never disturb/remove the laser scanner assm.. it will kill your patience.Never try to remove laser scanner assm with out cartridge bank( for repair normally we will remove this bank), it will fall down on ETB.. verify all connector properly fixed or not before powering on..

red light is stands for hardware boot and the green one is stands for system boot and disc boot. when red light remains solid it means your system is in 0% cpu usage and nothing doing, stop working

Sounds like you lamp ballast has gone bad. I good way to verify this is, when you press power on the projector look inside the lens. If you see a small amount of light, then the ballast is good, and the lamp is bad. If there is no light then chances are the ballast is bad.

Hello try

1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should respond as normal.

If it is solid on, it means the printer is ready to print; no action is required. If it's flashing, it means the printer is processing data and should print soon.

If you are printing from your computer and nothing comes out, with the "Horseshoe" light staying solid, I suggest checking the connection between your computer and the printer, or at least the printer configuration. Most of the time, unplugging, then plugging cables back in does the trick.

This is a problem, sorry to say. The Mark Encoder is not being detected. In laymans terms this means that you need a new carrage. Part Number is C4713-60039. You also need to check on the condition of your belt at the same time. Is there somebody in your area that can do the work or are you capable ?

Take the modem and plug it into a GFCI outlet. You can find one in the bathroom or the kitchen.

If the power light comes on solid green and the dsl comes on red then the modem is good. Was it plugged into a power strip by the computer? If so, plug it straight into a wall outlet.

If the power light comes on solid red then the modem has hardware failure. I would contact your ISP and have them replace it if it is still underwarranty.

If your router's internet light is red it means to say that there's no connection. You really have to call Tesco.

These are the 3 things listed as being wrong for the status light being solid red:
1. Media is out. Reload a new supply. Press feed button to
continue.
2. Power-up failure. Switch power OFF then back ON.
3. Printer ready to receive flash programming during
firmware download.
