Unscrew first in the batterie compartment. On the left speaker- / tonformed side are two hard to see slotted indents in the groove: push these gently inward simultaneously (!) with two blunt screwdrivers or similar, then gently pull open / apart. Be careful not to just pry it open sideways by force, otherwise the plastic inside will break off.
If this happens, for home use it doesn´t really matter though: the screw is basically enough to hold it in place and there is always adhesive tape ...

Almost all these plastic "wonders" have a set of screws... sometimes they are hidden under rubber feet OR under labels. When these are out, often there are little plastic protrusions that mate to depressions in the opposite site that have to be popped open. The key is to go slow and NOT to exert too much force. Sometimes they "hide" screws in the battery compartments as well. Often when you open these devices they go sproing and the little plastic buttons fall out of the front cover, so NOTE where they go. Rotating knobs often must be pulled off the shaft

The metronome on my P90 won't switch off. Is there a way I can fix this easily?

The P90 uses a rubber membrane switch to turn the metronome on/off it maybe that this has failed. Inside the rubber is a carbon contact that bridges over the PCB. If this gets dusty or worn out then it will not operate. This could be the cause, dismantle and clean and try again.

If not then it is with the electrical circuitry which would be harder to diagnose.

I have a RMP-5 Rhythm Coach. I cannot get any sound from the pad when I practice. Help

Hi, after doing a bit of googling it occurs to me that the internal speaker is ONLY for the metronome / click & not for the drum sounds themselves. You will need headphones or some external audio gear like your hi-fi system or oth r amp & speaker. I found this "The pad has 54 sounds in it (covering all parts of the drum kit but mostly snares), which are triggered when you hit the mesh head, but these can only be heard over headphones. The built in speaker is only used by the metronome sound (when there are no headphones attached) and then it only has a beep sound attached to it. However, plug in headphones and you get a variety of available click sounds including a proper ticking clockwork metronome." Hope that helps a little? Good Luck :-)

SEtting tempo on metronome Zoom R24

The metronome speed is controlled by the Tempo setting. The metronome controls only adjust the volume of the metronome and if the metronome is heard on the input or output recording. The R24 manual is available here: http://www.zoom.co.jp/downloads/r24/manual/ . See page 20 for setting the Tempo. The Tempo button is below the Tempo label to the left of the LCD display on the right side of the Zoom R24.

I hope this helps.

I have 2 Seiko Quartz metronomes that have exactly the same problem... the black cord is off of the battery "hat". One is model SQ44 and the other is SQ50. I have NO idea where to take this to...

Any electronic savy tech should be able to either solder the wire back on OR replace the connector for you. The battery connectors are available even from Radio Shack.

I recorded drums to the internal click track/metronome and drums are in time with metronome when i play it back with the click from the start of the song. BUT, if i stop in the middle of the song and...

I'd say the click track starts from exactly when you hit play even if you've hit play not right on the beat. There might be a setting or preference that can fix this.

Try rewinding back to be right on the beat and see if it syncs with the click

Hi I have a Digitech RP 300 Modeling Guitar Processor that lights up and will play the metronome tik but will not output the guitar, the guitar input is dead or semes to be. can any one help. thanks...

The metronome is built in software, but it proves that your output is working fine. That's good.
Try changing your patch cable from guitar>pedal. if that doesn't fix it, grab a screwdriver.
Open the pedal and check the input port - is there any bent pieces or blockages preventing the cable from contacting what it needs to? Is the solder broken, cracked, or missing? Are both contact points firm and in place?
