Tracks don't delete off device and don't show on song lists

I have a RCA Lyra1090A which for some reason has begun to keep some songs in its memory which I had deleted. When plugged into either Windows media player or Musicmatch the songs I had deleted do not show up on the play list. Is there any way to purge the songs off the memory? Or to purge the whole memory completely and just start over? Help

How can I delete EVERYTHING from my Sansa E-250. I already deleted all the files from Album and Music folders. However, the device still shows some songs as bad tracks, but I can't see these when I connect...

Try this solution:
Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,etc from MP3 Player
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player. Good Luck, I hope this helps Please rate me, Thank You

My nokia e51 only plays one song

Have create a track list containing all the songs? If you haven't done so, create a new tracklist in Tracks,
  1. Select New Track list
  2. Select memory location to save the List
  3. Name the Track List
  4. Then select the songs like like put in the list by Marking each song
If you want to add new songs in the list, you can edit the Track List and repeat pint 4 above.
Then you play the songs in the List randomly, etc.

Instead of doing it from the device itself, do it from Windows Media Player.

Deleting songs.

Your DB might be corrupt. Folow the delete procedure one more time:
Delete Music Files
1) Connect your Sansa to the computer.
2) Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on initial
connection.
3) Select the place where you want to delete music files from
4) Highlight and delete the music file/s or folder from My Computer\Sansa
e200\...\MUSIC
folder. (You can also select from a variety of music
software programs to transfer/synchronize your files).

If that fails, go ahead and update the firmware - it will delete everything, and allow you to start over from scratch among other things.

Problem in loading song in device

Tracks must be transferred using the Musicmatch Jukebox software supplied with the player. You cannot drag & drop from Windows, even though the player shows up as a removable drive. Musicmatch transfers the tracks, and alkso updates the file list on the player. If the tracks aren't on the file list, the player will ignore them.

Also, you need to have Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10, as Musicmatch uses drivers from version 10.

If you have Windows Media Player 11 installed, you will need to uninstall it to roll back to version 10.

If Musicmatch still doesn't transfer correctly, click on options / tools, and make sure that the device is recognised as "GoGear" , and not "Removable drive"
