Last night my Scaleo hang and I had to re-boot by pressing down the power switch (which I have done many times earlier).
But when trying to boot up again, I don’t hear any “post” beep or see any thing on the screen. But I can hear en se it lights up as “normal” during boot and can hear hard drive or fan spinning, though a bit different sound!!
I’m not sure what kind of bios I have, because I can’t se anything on the screen. Because of that I’m unsure on how to read the “none” beep when starting up?
Anyone having the same experience, or any idea on how to identify this problem?
Pete
I had the issue. Bought second hand motherboard on ebay and it fixed the problem. Apparently its a common issue with the motherboards used in the Scaleo 600

Try to unplug the pc then try to connect it to other power outlet far from the original outlet from which you unplug... hope it will help

I have tried to unplug several times. I even had it unplugged during the night, but still the same.

Can't follow your thoughts on that one!?? My voltage is as it should be!

I´ve got the same problem - though my 600 began doing this occasionally some weeks back, but could still be started after a few attempts. Now, it´s completely dead, just the HDD and CPU fan starts up, no "beep". Following another lead, I changed the CR2032 battery on the motherboard. Did not fix my problem. I´ve also measured the 5 volt and 12 volt signals powering the disk units, all seems OK.
