Have an LG Tromm WM2277HS washing machine the water will not drain and of course will not spin

if the machine fails to spin and makes noise there are thee things to check .if it fails to drain the water check if something is stuck on the drain pump no 2 turn the drum with your hand and check if the drum is moving freely if not something is stuck between the drum and the housing if the bearings are faulty the machine spins but makes alot of noise towards the end of the cycle i hope this will help you.

you need to ck the filter in the front down at the bottom left corner of the washer if it is clean you will need a new drain pump motor

Before the Spin Cycle should start, all water must be drained out of the machine. If it does not start, it could likely mean the Drain pump may be clogged. Please follow my below tip on the fix:

ACCESS, DRAIN & CLEAN THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER...

If this does not help, the drain pump may be faulty.

THERE IS A SMAL HOSE NEXT TO DRAIN PUMP TO LET IT DRAIN

Sounds like a bad lid switch. Check to see if you hear a "click" from the switch when you open and close the lid. If you do not, then you should replace the lid switch.

  2. Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves
  3. Check inlet valve operation
• If there is water in the unit:
  1. Check Drain pump operation
  2. Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch
• Check there is not a siphon problem
• Check wire harness connections to:Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
• Check all hoses for possible leaks
• Check pressure switch operation
• Check flow meter operation

may be the sensor? I have the same model and I changed the sensor now it fills.
