Water is coming through the tray but there is a buzzing sound & there is not much water. Could there be a blockage with the jet stream feed into the drum of our Zanussi Jet stream 1400 ?

more than likely, the buzzing sound is probably the circ pump struggling. this is very common. first check filter is clear. if it is there is a hose from the circ pump to the top of the tub or to the door seal, make sure that isn't blocked. don't worry ab there not being much water in the machine, these machines don't use much.

Check the impeller on the pump free to move. if ok check electrical connections. if ok either pump is faulty or it could be main pcb (or both)

Hi there I have a Zanussi zdf121 dishwasher which is only doing a cold wash, not heating at all. Not sure if its hot fill but the hot water is fine elsewhere. Any ideas please Pete

Do you have it hooked up to hot or cold water supply? Most residential dishwashers don't come equipped with a booster heater. If it's connected to the cold side, you'll have to replace the angle stop with a single outlet stop and replace the hot angle stop with a double outlet stop. This should help out, if not, make sure you have hot water in the faucet before starting the dishwasher. Most dishwashers need at least 120 degree hot water supply.

No water getting to washer

Yes, but I would check to make sure power is getting to the valve before replacing. Usually if you hear a buzzing, then power is going to the valve. The best way is with a meter on A/C setting then put it on OHM setting to check the solenoids on the valve. I would buy a meter at an appliance parts store so they can show you how to use it. It's not that difficult and everyone should have one.

Zanussi da4342 dishwasher

The dishwasher should heat the water to about 55 C as the heating cycle starts. In these cycle, the dishwasher pauses after has filled with water and wait for the water to reach the temperature. If the water isn't being heated (because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues.
Another possible reason is that the timer unit is defective. If you have observed anything different post a comment.

Zanussi jetsystem Turbodry 1200

It appears that you may have a faulty door interlock or a faulty PCB. pcb is not really a DIY job as some boards require proramming on certain versions. Regards Advisor

Upper spray arm came off

I have the DA4142 and if its anything like mine, the upper spray arm simply clips into place under the upper tray rack.
