Sony Vaio PCG and some Vaio VGN Series use the last 7 digits of the laptop serial number to calculate the bios master password. The serial number for a Sony Vaio is often located on the bottom of the laptop on a white sticker. The serial number may also be found by removing the battery and checking in the battery compartment. The link to unlockbiosrecovery.com below works on the following models:
PCG-C, PCG-F, PCG-GR, PCG-GRS, PCG-GRT, PCG-GRV, PCG-GRX, PCG-GRZ, PCG-N, PCG-NV205, PCG-QR, PCG-R, PCG-SR, PCG-SRX, PCG-TR, PCG-V, PCG-VX, PCG-X, PCG-Z, VGN-B, VGN-FS, VGN-S, VGN-T, VGN-TX1, VGN-X
I use http://www.unlockbiosrecovery.com/Unlock_Sony_Bios.php
For $20 they use the last 7 digits of the laptop serial number to calculate the bios master password and then email it to you in an hour. They guarantee it to work and you can call them if you have a question.

There are two passwords in BIOS. One is start up password, the other isBIOS setting password. If you have forgotten the start up password thatmeans you cannot open computer at all. Then the first method is theonly thing you can do. Other methods can use to clear setting password.
==①:Motherboard Battery Discharge==
The common way toreset start up password is discharge Motherboard Battery. Most of thecurrent motherboard BIOS is using the button batteries to provideelectric power.That means if there is no electricity, the informationit contains will be lost. When it’s on power again, BIOS will set backto its original state, of course, there will be no BIOS passwords. Butyou will lose your setting at the same time.
What we need to dois to power off computer, open the computer box, and then unplug thepower plug of the computer to make sure that it is no electricity atall. Then locate the white silver button battery on the motherboard.Remove the battery carefully. Perhaps 30 seconds later, put back thebattery.
After put back the computer box then power on, thesystem will prompt “CMOS Checksum Error-Defaults Loaded”. That meansCMOS errors detected during inspections, had been included in thesystem default, BIOS password cracking success!
On somemotherboards, the battery is soldered to the motherboard, making itdifficult to remove. If this is the case, you have another alternative.Somewhere on the motherboard you should find a jumper that will clearthe BIOS password. If you have the motherboard documentation, you willknow where that jumper is. If not, the jumper may be labeled on themotherboard. If you are not fortunate enough for either of these to bethe case, you may be able to guess which jumper is the correct jumper.This jumper is usually standing alone near the battery. If you cannotlocate this jumper, you might short both of the points where thebattery connects to the motherboard.
==② : Backdoor BIOS Password==
Eachmotherboard manufacturer has set a backdoor password in order tofacilitate the provision of technical support. The backdoor password isa BIOS password that works, no matter what the user sets the BIOSpassword to. These passwords are typically used for testing andmaintenance. Manufacturers typically change the backdoor BIOS passwordsfrom time to time.
AMI Backdoor BIOS Passwords
Reported AMIbackdoor BIOS passwords include A.M.I., AAAMMMIII, AMI?SW , AMI_SW,BIOS, CONDO, HEWITT RAND, LKWPETER, MI, and PASSWORD.

==③: Software Crack==
There are a lotsoftwares to test systems or start up password, but they need to run onWindows. So it is only used to reset BIOS setting password.

How to remove bios password in laptop dell model no pp19s

BIOS passwordsare used to add some extra security to computers. You can either set a passwordto prevent access to BIOS settings or to prevent PC from booting. But sometimesthis extra security might become a pain when you forget the BIOS password orsomeone changes your system BIOS password intentionally. But there is noneed to worry. There are many known ways to reset / remove / bypass thepassword: · By removing CMOS battery · By using motherboard jumper · By using MS DOS command · By using software · By using Backdoor BIOS password Now I'll try to explain each methodone by one: By Removing CMOS Battery:
Almost allmotherboards use a small coin d CMOS battery to store all BIOS settingsalong with the password. To reset the password, unplug the PC, open the cabinetand remove the CMOS battery for approx. 15-30 minutes and thenput it back. It'll reset all BIOS settings as well as the password and you'llneed to re-enter all settings. If it fails,then try to remove the battery for at least one hour. By Using MotherboardJumper: Almost allmotherboards contain a jumper that can clear all CMOS settings along with theBIOS password. The location of this jumper varies depending upon themotherboard brand. You should read your motherboard manual to check itslocation. If you don't have the manual then look for the jumpers near the CMOSbattery. Most of the manufacturer label the jumper as CLR, CLEAR, CLEAR CMOS,etc. When you findthe jumper, look carefully. There will be 3 pins and the jumper will be joiningthe center pin to either left or right pin. What you need to do, is remove thejumper and join the center pin to the opposite pin. e.g. if the jumper joinscenter pin to left pin, then remove it and join center pin to right pin. Nowwait for a few seconds and then again remove the jumper and join the center pinto left pin. Make sure toturn the PC off before opening the cabinet and resetting the jumper. By UsingMS DOS Command: This methodworks only if you have access to the system when its turned on because thismethod requires MS DOS. Open Command Prompt from Programs menuand provide following commands one bye one: Debug o 70 2E o 71 FF quit NOTE:The first character in the above commands is English alphabet "o"and not the number 0. After providing the above commands, restart your systemand it should reset the CMOS Settings along with the BIOS password. If you arecurious to know how it works? then let me explain the above commands: In this method we are using theDebug tool of MS DOS. The "o" character present atfirst in these commands, outputs the values to IO ports. The number 70and 71 are port numbers which are used to access CMOS memory.By providing FF value we are telling CMOS that there is aninvalid checksum and it resets the CMOS settings as well as BIOS password. By UsingSoftware: There are a few software which canalso reset CMOS settings or BIOS password or both within a few clicks. But asstated above you should have access to a system which is turned on and shouldhave access to MS DOS or MS Windows: CmosPwd By Using Backdoor BIOSPassword: Some BIOSmanufacturer put a backdoor password in BIOS which always works irrespective ofwhat password you have set in BIOS. Its a master password which is used fortesting and troubleshooting purposes. AMI BIOS Passwords: A.M.I.

My toshiba equium just wont except the main password, cant reboot..cant get into bios

At this time you need to cleat the BIOS password first so that you can get into BIOS. To cleat the BIOS password you need to open your laptop you just remove the battery first. Remove the screw and open the back cover. Locate the CMOS battery, all password are stored in CMOS memory.

Remove the CMOS battery to clear the stored BIOS password, Or you can remove also the CMOS jamper near the CMOS battery and turn on the unit with in 10 second and turn off. Reinsert the jamper. Now the BIOS password are already clear you can get now in BIOS to change some settings. Good luck

Dell D505 BIOS Reset

Generally, all you need to do is get on to Dell Support and get in a chat with one of their people and tell them that you are locked out by a BIOS password, and needed to get around it. After they verify that you are the owner of the laptop, they should give you a password that gets you through it.
