There is a piece of the inside of the washer that has come loose and I cannot tell where it belongs. It's a white cylinder shaped piece with a smaller piece sticking out of it. There washer will not dissolve the power now and the dishes are not washing. please advise.

Bonnie, I believe that is the cleaner for the holes in the sprayer arm. You manually insert the small end into holes and move in and out. It stores when not being used, in the front bottom near the door. JereBonnie, I believe that is the cleaner for the holes in the sprayer arm. Bonnie, the spray arm itself will have a tower that extends upward. On the lower rack in the center will be a tower protector and the upper rack should have a water diffuser in the middle. The protecter and diffuser will clip on to the center of the racks. Hope this gets you going..

Inside the dishwasher to the front left is a small round cylinder and inside that white cover is a small floater that is activated electronically and sometimes they will go out and cause the water not to drain. the part is cheap and worth changing out before you call for repairs.
i no expert on that model but i seen a few inside of a washer there a moter small siver thing the belt goes on there and around the drum i say the plastic thing is part of the cog for the moter but cant be sure without seeing it does the drum spin or move when turn it on if not then that defo the drum belt
The top arm snaps into place. Simply unscrew the retaining clip from the ceiling of the washer. Inside of there, you will find a small white plastic clip. Make sure the two prongs are pointed down and poking out through the hole in the bottom of the larger grey clip that you just unscrewed. Then press the prongs on the white clip into the hole on the arm and snap it back together. Then you can screw the assembly back into the ceiling of the washer.
If this problem persists, you will likely need to replace the white plastic clip. (which is where I am at right now with my washer).
I have the exact same problem!!! Found 2 loose rubber bands, the bottom doesn't drain completely, and the dishes are left either dirty with a white film on them. Please help!
If these two grey pieces are about 1 1/2" long and a 1/2" wide. They are used to retain the upper rack onto the tracks to prent the rack from falling out and used as a rack stopper. There are two on the front and two on the back of the top rack. How to insert them may differ dependant on the model. look at the two still attached and you may be able to re-install them.
check the two switches under the inside cover of the door. there are two switches under the flimsy metal switch actuator, one switch has a black wire in both ends the other switch should have two white or white/red strip wires on one end and one white or white/red wire on the other end. the black wire is power the white wire is your neutral. both switches should have a button in the middle that is pushed in by the flimsy metal switch actuator when you lock the door shut. i had to replace the switch for my neutral when mine quit working. you can remove this switch and get the part number off of it. you can look it up on line or call a small appliance repair store to see if they have the part or can order it for you. remember to unplug the dishwasher before you remove the the inside cover of the door. hope this helps.
