To change the password on a netgear, you first need to secure or make sure that you are connected to it. be it wireless or hardwired. after ensuring that your laptop is connected, open a browser, and type 192.168.1.1 or www.routerlogin.net, then it would ask you for a username and password. username is " admin " password is " password " then it would take you now to the netgear page. on the left side of that screen, click on wireless settings, then you can start changing your password in security option. then click apply.
