MY WF218ANB/XAA WON'T DRAIN BETWEEN WASH AND SPIN CYCLE, AND GIVES ME AND ND CODE

please power cycle your machine and try the solo drain again. If it does not work, try the solo rinse function first. Then, try the solo drain function again. There might be a weight distribution sensor that senses when the machine contains uneven distribution caused by soaked clothes. Doing the previous steps would allow us to test this hypothesis.

If the individual part/function CAN work, but it wont complete a cycle, suspect the control board...

ND means no drain. The issue could be using the wrong detergent. IT could also be something stuck in the filter or the pump.

What detergent you use could be causing suds to stay on the machine sensor and it thinks it has not drained. The only other things are the elevation of the drain hose and the sensor itself.

pull shafe out it is likly broken to find out between timer and shaft look to see if timer move by itself and if it does sorry u have broken shaft

ND means No Drain(ing). First check that the drain hose isn't kinked. Then, check to make sure the drain hose isn't pushed so far down into the standpipe that it is sealed closed. If it is too tight in the standpipe, it will create a siphoning effect. It has to sit freely but securely in the pipe.

You may want to check your drain to be sure there's not a clog/partial clog when draining out the water. Also, you may want to check the filter and possibly clean it. A partially clogged filter may cause this problem. And, you might try...turning off the unit for 10 seconds and turn back on...select Spin Cycle...press Start/Pause to drain the water. From what you're describing it sounds like the drain pump is blocked. The nd error code indicates "no drain". If the unit can't drain it won't spin. You're going to have to slide the washer out far enough to remove the rear panel; be careful not to damage the floor. Once you get the rear panel off you will see the pump. Be sure to have plenty of towels & a small container to catch water. I am sending you instructions from the service manual to remove and replace the pump. Another possibility is the drain line is blocked or something is stuck in the tub to pump hose.

ND error code means no drain check the pump filter check the pump and check the drain line that goes from the oulet port coming out of the outter tub to the pump and also check the drain hose leaving the pump that goes out of your washer as well. Yes you need a new control board. The fact that the motor and impeller was damaged and loosened. You should try taking your Washer in for maintenance check or call the repair man.
