HTC TyTnII: UK sim unlocked. I went to the USA and used US Sim, and all worked fine. Switching between UK and US sim worked fine....

Then..... with the US sim in it, the phone stopped working for voice-calls, MMS, and Internet, only SMS over GSM worked. The phone signal strength indicator shows '!' and when clicked on, it says No Service. All the sim contacts were there, but the outlook contacts were gone. Then when I changed back to the UK sim it all worked perfectly for a while. Then it developed the same symptoms with the UK sim in the phone. (the phone stopped working for voice-calls, MMS, and Internet, only SMS over GSM worked. The phone signal strength indicator shows '!' and when clicked on, it says No Service. All the sim contacts were there, but the outlook contacts were gone.).

I'm now back in the UK and it's still not working with either UK or US sim. I don't expect the US sim to work in the UK, so that's not a problem, but the UK sim always worked in the UK, and both were working at one point in the US.

    What's wrong.

If u look  in the network settings, the 850 band is likely missing because u had a european destined phone dumped on you and you were misled or ripped off.
here is an easy fix, i just did it and im so much happier. went from no signal to 5 bars.

http://www.howardforums.com/archive/topic/808982-1.html

has the instructions, you will need a usb data cable to connect your phone to your computer.

You have one problem causing the other - When the phone gets no service it stays on analog mode and drains the battery trying to find a signal. Do you still have this problem when changing sims? makes sense that it would be a sim problem, since you have numbers being deleted, and no reception. back the remaining numbers up and go get a new sim to see if it fixes your problem. Good luck

I think your phone's memory is full. Have you power cycled your phone? Try a cleanup utility or delete some unused apps.

Pls tell me the clear solution for my mobile problem.when I switch on my Nokia 3110c, the screen flashes 2 or 3 time and shuts down. What could be the problem? I check the battery and SIM, they look fine

Are you sure the abttary is full? Try to power the mobile when it's charged. If that won't work, you can try to dismantle the battary for 10 minutes and then try again.

Good luck! :)

Multiple Blackberry problems on the same phone! Please help!

I think the easiest way to resolve as many of these issues is by resetting your blackberry.

Hold down ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE keys - I'm not 100% sure this works on your model but it is soft reset.

Go into Options, then select Security Options, then select General Settings, then activate the BlackBerry menu and select the option to wipe the device - Will reset all your personalised settings to default
