Question about Logitech EXTREME 3D PRO TWIST HANDLE JOYSTICK USB (VG3DPROTWISTJOYSTICKUSB)

Putting back together the logitech extreme 3D pro

I took appart the logitech extreme 3d pro joystick intending to fix the problem I had with it. Now I am trying to put it back together. I did put it back together but the twist handle was loose. It does not spring back to its origional state when I let go of it. I took it appart again and again trying different ways of positioning the spring but still it is not springing back to its origional state.

It was junk anyway, after about a year or two of service the spring will wear and you will have to send it into logitech, if they cant fix it they will then ask if you want a refund, i would say yes and just apply that money towards a new joystick. My friend had the same joystick and it wore out after two years. he disassembled it, and tried to fix the problem, then he reassembled it and then it didnt work period although everything was ok, so he just tossed it in the trash and bought another one.

That joystick should just be plug-and-play compatible, so no driver or software is necessary, nor do they exist.

Is the Logitech Extreme 3D joystick compatible with my Windows Vista?

Yes it is very much compatible with windows vista.
it is compatible with xp,98,vista but not with windows 7

so as you have windows vista,so you can use your joystick

Indeed you cannot, the LGS ( Logitech Gaming Software ) is not able to support 2 different devices at the sametime, software restrictions !

enter your joystick model in
"gaming"
"gaming" then in
"product name"
enter your model joystick,
get updates and software.
reinstall your software for your joystick

Logitech Extreme 3d Pro Calibration problems.

Hello There,
Also dont' I meant NO, Do NOT install the software that came with the joystick, it lure a lot problems on calibating and others.
use the game control panel on windows instead.
