I have a problem with my archos 70 Internet Tablet. Almost none of the apps on it wanted to function as it should be. So I formatted it but it seems like I no longer have applibs installed on it. When I tried to download it I couldn't do it on my tablet although my internet connection seems to be working quite fine on both the tablet & my computer. it seems like it downloads it but then I couldn't install it. It says installing and it remains like that forever. I can't even connect my tablet to my PC with a USB cable or even via bluetooth. I don't have any other downloading applications. All I have now is the very basic apps Archos is equipped with at the very start. PLEASE help me out with this ASAP

We had a similar problem yesterday. It happens as soon as we plug in to USB cable to PC. We found that after we left it for some time it did eventualy kick back in to life. We could use it until we plugged in to USB again. Trying to find a solution to the problem right now. You can press and keep hold of volume up button while you turn back on and that kicks in the diagnostic software menu. From there you can find the "Force screen calibration" which we did but it doesnt sort out the problem of plugging in USB

Check the driver for teh wireless card of the Arcos..and you knwo it works for sure cause you used it in another connection ..than the issue must be on the router ..get into the settings by typing the router's IP address into the browser address bar..and on the wireless settings ..enable the network ..change the channel with a middle one if it is the case and save the settings .For begining I suggest to remove any password for the wireless network to simplify the connection process..Also if you know a hot spot or you have access to another wireless connection try the tablet just to be sure it do nto have issues with the drivers or functionality of the wireless card ..(do not forget to enable the wireless card if it has a button for that )

Just use the provided USB cable and connect the tablet to PC. Windows will recognize it as another drive (USB Mass Storage similar as USB HDDs and USB sticks). Copy the APK file anywhere (for example to Downloads folder. Then unplug from PC and run the Files application on Archos. Browse to the directory and clicking on the APK filewill start installation process.

Try this:
Power your Archos 101 off by holding the Power Button for 10 seconds (this fully shuts it down).
While holding the Volume + button power it back up (tap power button to start up, hold volume until the tablet enters recovery mode, you'll see a series of choices instead of the demo mode).
Choose the Format System option.
When this process is complete make sure not to select Demo Mode as Android boots and the Archos 101 gets up and running.

For your tablet, to get Yahoo! mail you have to activate POP setting; to activate pop on your Yahoo!Mail account you have to pay for it.
Now, if you once signed up for Yahoo! Mail Plus, add a new email account to your email program with the following POP and SMTP settings:

1. Yahoo! Mail POP server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
2. POP port: 995
3. POP TLS/SSL: yes
4. POP user name: your Yahoo! ID
5. password: your password

1. Yahoo! Mail SMTP server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
2. SMTP port: 465
3. SMTP TLS/SSL: yes
4. SMTP user name: your ID
5. SMTP password: your password

In case you will have some errors/problems having such settings you have to:

# Log in to Yahoo! Mail
# select OPTIONS > MAIL OPTIONS > go to POP/FORWARDING > choose VIEW POP on Yahoo!Mail Server.
