Earlier today I was able to get XM on my stereo w/o any problems. Later in the day I couldn't. In the past when I pressed the "Tuner" button on the remote control twice, i would switch to XM. Now all that happens is that the radio turns off. HELP!!!
Does the unit have a built in xm decoder or are you using a separate (external) decoder?
If its external i would make sure that all the fuses are fine and that the power is getting right to where it plugs into the module.
Let me know of any other symptoms if you can.
Cheers

No it is satellite ready, meaning you need to add atuner to the stereo, but you can use the stereo to control the tuner. Again, a seperate tuner will need to be bought and installed. Good Luck.

After researching your model DEH-P470MP, it appears that to use an iPod, you need an adapter that plugs into the rear port of the unit intended for a multi-cd changer connection. If you have one installed and it's not working, I would check the connection on the unit. Make sure the cable is firmly seated in the port and then check the cable and also check for any fuse in the line to make sure it's not blown out. Also some of the earlier models of ipod adapters aren't compatible with the newer generations of ipods. There are aftermarket adapter plugs that will allow your ipod to charge/play off these earlier decks/adapters.
I have same problem and sure connect did not help. The unit works fine otherwise except will not send a signal to my car radio. I will try removing the battery today & if this does not work I will do t paper clip reset in the battery compartment.
does the amp turn on when the deck is turned on ? is the ground hooked to the body of the car to bare metal w/out paint ect ...under it ? you may want to take it to a installer there are many things it could be they can also test your rca outputs if thats the problem. curcuit city is a cheap place to have your equipment tested if you live close to one
