171 motor error on C750 - Lexmark C750 Laser Printer

You did not specify the exact model. However error code given on page 171 on Error Codes On The Display Window - Toshiba RD-XS34SU Owner's Manual [Page 171] ' ManualsLib manual may help.

Usually this is caused by a bad PCU drum does not turn. Replace PCU.

Code 171 is for the fuel mixture on bank one is too lean, and code 232 is for a problem with the fuel pump circuit.
Code 232 could cause code 171 or 171 could be something going on with one of the O2 sensors.
You would need to take a scanner and watch the activity on the O2 sensors, and check base fuel pressure with a gauge.

E32 INCORRECT CALIBRATION OF ANALOGIC (ELECTRONIC) PRESSURE SWITCH. IF THE MACHINE IS DRAINING OK, THEN IT IS THE SWITCH
E32 relates to the electronic pressure switch, normal pressure switch,inlet valves,poor water mains pressure and finally the main control board
E90 means theres a fault on the main control module so A;will need a new control module or B; get an engineer to try re-configureing the module

PROBLEM SOLUTION :

1. Don't install software/drivers form the HP CD. If already done, uninstall them using setup.exe from this CD

2. Connect the psc2210 USB cable to the PC. Windows will load divers from Internet but will not be able to install two of them: "psc2200 Series" and " Hewlet Packard psc2200 Series ". Repair assistant will not be able to fix the problem either (probably the Windows 7 bug).

3. In the « Control Panel->Hardware and Sound services », activate "Device Manager" found under « Devices and Printers ».

4. Under « Other devices » look for « HP psc2200 Series » with a small « bulb » icon, bearing a yellow question mark. . Select « update driver » for this icon : Windows scans Internet and installs the related driver , followed by the message « Windows has successfully updated driver for your device HP psc2200 series »

5. In « Device Manager the «HP psc2200 series » now appears under « Imaging Devices ».

6. In the Control Panel, under « Devices->Printers and Faxes » the icon of the HP psc2200 series is now shown without the error warning. Clicking on this icon offers several choices, "Start scan" being one of them

most of the time it's an exhaust leak on bank 1 somewhere betwean the motor and first oxygen sensor

The 171 Fatal error:

Upper Thermistor, State:Open
When an open circuit has been detected in the heat roller thermistor (low temperature)

Check the heater connector and the thermistor connector to make sure they are seated properly. If OK you probably need to replace the fuser.

This error can be caused by many reasons, some of them are:

Caused by Paper Stuck Under the Second Transfer Roll

Sporadic or Intermittent 200 Paper Jams

"200 Paper Jam" Resulting from a Possibly Damaged Tray

"200 paper jam" When Attempting to Print from Tray 2

Power off the printer, take the Magenta cartridge out, take a lint and dust-free cloth or tissue and clean the hysinc mirror and the printerhead lens. I just did it and it took me three minutes to clean with toilet paper rolled up like a cigarette. 
My printer is back on line. The hysinc mirror and printerhead lens is in the printer not on the magenta cartridge. Reinstall the print cartridge and power on. This has happened to me before with a different color.
