You can download the Software for the Walkman from the Sony website if it is available. Click on the link and select the Operating System of the Computer to which you are downloading the Software. Then click on the "Download" icon to download the Software. You may visit this website to download the Software/Updates if it is released.

select you OS using the drop down tab, and select picture motion browser 2 file (s). under which download and install the "lost the original software installation disc?" download and installation instructions available by reading the download now page. after successfully installing the software,i would recommend you install the PMB update ver.4.2.1. hope this helps smokie.tnx:)
If its a USB ver 2.0 type and you are using Windows XP you won't need any software just plug it in and you should then check My Computer to see if it shows up as an extra drive/drives.
If you use Windows 98 you will need drivers so go to the sony website and check 'download" or 'support' amd enter your model no.
There is a wonderful website that provides installation CDs and Palm Desktop software for Sony Clie models that Sony no longer provides support for. I was able to get the Palm Desktop software with Clie drivers for my TJ25 from it. The website is http://www.sonyclie.org/. I'll bet they can fix you up!
