I TRY TO SECURITY PIN CODE TO MY PHONE LOCK, I CANNOT OPEN MY PHONE THEY ASK PIN CODE AND PUK CODE REALLY I DONT HAVE THE THAT MODEL NUMBER NOKIA 1661 INFORMATION. THIS IS THE MY PHONE NUMBER 66970262 (FROM KUWAIT)

this code does not have to do with your phone it has to do with your sim. you should have a pin document which came with your sim card. there should be a PIN and a backup PIN to get you in, if not there is a PUK number if your put the wrong code in more than 3 times it will ask your for the PUK. if you dont have this information speak to your operator and maybe ask them for a replacement sim for your phone number.

ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it
Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000

You may try default phone and security code to remove restrictions.

Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.
send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.

First ask your service provider for the PUK number. after getting the PUK number, go to security settings and choose change PIN, it will ask for old PIN number, try a random number and then it will show 'sim blocked', please insert PUK number.
Insert the PUK you got from your operator and then you will be able to change your PIN.

The PUK, Personal Unblocking Key and PIN, Personal Identification Number are supplied by the Service Provider. They both are eight digit numbers with defaut being 00000000 (eight zeros). Try them. If they dont work means that you have changed them and forgotten. Ask your service provider. Also go to Security and unselect the asking for PIN and PUK for future ease of operation.

You enter the PUK code, when the SIM has been locked by too many attempts at entering the PIN code for the SIM.

When the PUK code is needed, the phone will specifically ask you to enter it. If you want to trigger the PUK code request, enter the PIN code for the SIM card incorrectly a few times. There is no key press codes to trigger the PUK code prompt.

Each PUK code is specific to each SIM card, and has nothing to do with the phone itself.

And the PUK code is also not related to the phone security/lock code (the default for the security/lock code on the phone is 12345 on Nokia phones).

you have to phone 07973100450 from a land line. it will ask you for your phone number a few times then it will pass you to  a REAL person who will ask you ask you a few security questions like what are the last four numbers of your top-up card and vol lia that is how you get your four digit id code!!!!!!!

There's a Security Code and Lock Code.

Resetting the Lock Code:
Remove the battery and replace it after 1 hour or more. The default Lock Code should reset to "1234". If that doesn't work try the last four of your phone number.

Resetting the Security Code:
The default Security Code is 12345. If this doesn't work go to your normal interface and type in "#3001*12345*. Go to the Security option, write down the number, then press "Ok". Back out of it all and it should take you back to your normal phone interface. The number your found should be your security code.

Hi everyone

Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.

2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.
