Problem with samsung syncmaster 540N 15"

Whenever I turn on the CPU and monitor...the monitor just stays black and the homescreen will just appear after 3 or 4 hours...how will i fix this problem?...pls. help...thanks... tes my lcd (sync masters 540n) whn turned ON it remains black or it becomes coloured(rainbow) upward strips all over screen,then automatic it comes back 2 as usual whn it restarts,plz help me,because i changed a half of its parts with new ones..

    it's occurs in a 540n 15" monitor. Screen remains black in minutes appears image, but when it became sleep the image could not show and remanins in black screen. thank you

When i turn on my lcd samsung syncmaster 540n it displayed a lot of colored vertical and horizontal lines.no video when i attached my cpu but it turns on when i powered my cpu
boot up in safe mode (press f8 while booting) If your monitor works now, you need to go the the samsung site and download the driver for you monitor. I assume windows 7, since that is where most of the monitor problem occur.

My samsung syncmaster 540n lcd monitor remains black when i boot the system but the monitor is not switching on i.e the monitor screen appears black and no images are displayed. but the cpu is working...
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed SAMSUNG monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

you have to explain more detail the problem, but is there bios detail appear while pc startup?
any way try to change the cable first
if that can solve your problem may be in the past you set the resolutions higher so you lcd can't display it

if only white display is appear on screen it's means the problem is in main pcb section. its may be a loose contacting of the flap beetween main pcb & lcd panel. plz check it. if the main pcb will defective then no way to repair and replace the pcb.
