Key tone volume

How do I turn off the key volume on my samsung U900 phone. As every button I press makes a sound. It is vey annoying. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

Press the down button on the left hand side of the handset, this controlls the key volume

Use the volume control on the left side of the phone and press the bottom of the button. This will reduce the key tone volume until it displays mute and eliminate the annoying sound.

Go to Menu->Settings->Phone Profiles
When you edit the profile there are three tabs at the top, one is the call alert, second is the messages, and the third is the one you want.
Just scroll down to 'Phone sound volume', click to 'change' and then turn the volume down as low as you want

The best thing to do is just call Samsung- I had to call then to find out how to change the ring tones- as I couldn't find instructions in the user guide- when I called them they were mega helpful as samsung usually are. They will help you with any probs you have...I have to say though- I love the sounds it makes- I've never had a mobile make sounds like that before- and I find it lovely- I'm not really bothered if other ppl find it annoying- (I would usually be a bit embaressed)as I got this mobile to replace a N95 8GB which caused me nothing but probs- due to all its faults- I absolutly love this mobile!

Can't turn the texting key sounds off!!
Okay go into your menu and go to your Fourth option which is a little silver wheel which has the options call date&time all that.Go to sound which is your third option. It will have an option that says volume. Go into that and it will say keypad you can shut the noise off that way hope it helped if you need more clarification let me know.

Key tone volume

In Idle mode, press [Volume] to adjust the key tone volume.

You cannot adjust the key tone volume in any other way.....

Turn off Samsung U900 Soul camera shutter sounds
press the red button on the side to open camera mode> click the little menu button (this should be the right hand button when you use your phone normaly)> scroll across to the very last option (this should be settings)> click okay> scroll down till you find an option saying shutter> click okay> chose none and click okay to exit it.

if this doesn't work put your phone in silent/ meeting mode

WHEN I AM TYPING ON MY KEYPAD I GET A SOUND ON EACH LETTER TYPED.
go to standby mode (close the phone) slide it up and press the volume button (the ones on the left side) this should make you able to adjust the volume of the key tone. hope this answers you question.

I WANT TO TURN THE SOUND OFF ON MY KEYPAD
hi the first thing you must do is go into your setting and find a link that says sound or volume then you should find key tone or pad and just turn it off if this isnt help then call your carrier and tell them what phone you have an you need the key pad sound off

I have a Samsung U900 and cannot turn off the key sounds without
to solve this at the main screen press volume down and u will get a pop up saying key tone volume keep pressing unil it reaches 0 and there will be no key pad sound but music etc will still work fine

if u r referring to the in call volume....then u can increase it while ur talking on the phone only, with the same button through which u set the key tone volume...........

Samsung Soul U900
When sending text messages on the samsung soul u900 there is a tone sounds for every message sent, can this be disabled and is so how do you disable it, its so annoying!!!

Is this a tone that is played when the screen says 'message sent'?
If so try editing your profiles. In the menu for every profile (with the exception of silent i think) there is an option for phone sound volume. Try putting that to zero......

If its the one that plays becuase you ask for a delivery report of a sent message then you cant silence that without silencing all text messages.

Samsung u900 Soul mobile, both ring and caller volume is to quiet even when set at maximum. Is there anyway of increasing phone settings
