Hi i had this problem..unplug your compter tower an plug into another screen, i used my tv. when computer on go into Control panel and Devices. choose your monitor an then uninstall it. Shut down an unplug computer an put bac with computer monitor. it will automatically reinstall it. Worked for me just a pain to move it!
You should check the VGA cable and also try this monitor with another PC first. Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.
