Hi, it might be the fuse. Does the charge light just flash briefly when you plug in charger? If so it will be the fuse. If the console it out of warranty, maybe you or someone you know can fix it. Check out the following youtube videos Good Luck

If the light doesnt turn to orange after a few minutes on the charger then the problem hardware related. Try another battery if there is no change then there is fault in the device, and repairs are required.

this:
1. Plug it in the Charger without the battery inside.
2. switch on the power.
3. Without removing the charger plug in the battery.
