The number 2 remote control do not work the remote

If you wish to buy a genuine remote control, you have to contact the authorized service center. If you wish to buy a universal remote control, you should know about, which brand remote control have set-up codes to your TV brand, and buy that one according to availability. The first thing you have to do is, to confirm the number of digits in the setup codes to your TV brand. There are 4 digit, 5 digit, 3 digit and even 2 digit codes. You can make it sure by entering '0s' at the code enter window the TV dispays, and asks codes. Enter 'Zeros', and count how many zeros can be enterd. That number will be the number of digit of setup code, the TV/Device need. If you can enter 5 zeros, the number of digit in the set-up code to your TV is a '5' digit one, if only 2 zeros can be enterd, the number of digits in the set-up code to your TV should be a 2 digit one, and so on.. Go back to your owners manual, as there are usually more than one code number for your system. Go through the procedure step by step and it should work providing you have the correct number for your TV. Remember if you are using your cable remote to control your TV, it's the cable manual you should use. Hope this helps.

What type receiver is your TV connected to? Do you know your remote model number - located on back of the remote at the top (ex. 2 digit number 5.3 ir). The majority of our TV 1 remotes work in IR mode. If this universal remote uses UHF frequency, it will not work for the IR frequency. Please let me know your receiver and remote types and I will see if there is anything we can do for this remote.

Hi,

Codes for the Innovage Jumbo for Sony TVs are: 002, 006, 071, 128

Manual code entry instructions:

1. Switch on the TV
2. Point the remote at the TV and hold the "CODE SEARCH" button until the small red light illuminates and stays lit.
3. Press the "TV" button the remote
4. Use the number keys on the remote to enter the first code from the list above 0 0 2

The red light will flash each time you press a number key and will switch off after you enter the final number.

5. Press the ON/OFF button on the remote. If the TV switches off, switch it back on and test some of the other buttons to make sure they work and contol the correct functions.

If the device does not switch off or many of the buttons don't work (or control the wrong function), repeat the above process from step 2.

Please note: not all universal remotes will work with all TVs

Hello, Daniel Busa here with Dish Network's customer service department. What you need to do is reprogram one of your number two remotes, to do this:

1.take Your tv2 remote to tv1
2.hit menu twice on the number 1 remote you'll see the sys. info. screen at the bottom it will say secondary remote address you want to change this.
3.hold down the "sat" button for 4 seconds and hit any number between 1-15 then hit the # key once, and than record 3 times.
The secondary remote address should now be a different number and it all should work.

Have you tried pressing SAT and trying the remote again? If not then you may need to readdress the remote.

To do so:
1. Access System Information from primary TV.
2. Note the number on bottom by Second Remote Adress
3. Hold SAT until all lights on top of the remote light up.
4. Let go and it will be blinking, enter a number between 1-15 and press #
5. Press record 3 times and the number found in step 2 should change to the one you selected.

Remove the batteries. Hold in the Number 2 button. replace the battery while still holding 2. continue to hold 2 until it says upgrade success. then hit activities and your good to go.

have you program first the remote control, to work on your TV..??

Heres a few instructions how to programmed your remote..

1. Test your remote control. To find out whether your remote control can operate the component without programming, turn on the component such as a VCR and press the corresponding MODE button (VCR) on the remote control, while illuminating on the selected component. Test the POWER button to see if the component responds properly. If not, the remote requires programming to operate the device.
2. Turn on the component to be programmed, then press the corresponding MODE button on the remote control.
3. Press the MENU and MUTE buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds, the button selected component lights on the remote control. If you don't press any button for 20 seconds, the button selected component will turn off on the remote control. At a moment, you have to repeat from step 2.
4. Enter a code number using the number buttons on the remote. When pressing the button, the light is blinked at a time. Programming code numbers for the corresponding component can be found on the following pages. Again, if the code is correct, the device will turn off.
5. Press the MENU button to store the code. After blinking twice, this code is stored.
   
6. Test the remote control functions to see if the component responds properly. If not, repeat from step 2.

Try 001 as the PCode.

press stop button then the power button together the player will go off. put it on again the remote should work.

Thy Resetting the Remote and Re-program your devices. See if that works.
