My dlp made a popping-crack sound and it shut down. I replaced the lamp and now the lights on the front show the lamp trying to turn on for about 6-8 seconds and then all three lights start flashing . There is a sound like the fans are on and a low deep hum while trying to turn on but nothing else. ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATED!!!. THANKS.

We were watching the set when it made a shattering-crack sound and then went off. The lights were flashing for a defective lamp. We replaced the lamp but the TV still will not turn on and the defective lamp lights are still flashing.

I have a big problem with my Samsung HLN617W 61 in. Rear Projection HDTV Television! It was made in 2004 in Mexico. I cannot turn it on--all the three lights are blinking! I hate to throw it away, so I replaced the lamp. But that makes no difference. I recently ordered a color wheel and decide to try it. I will let you guys know if it works. Anyway, I will never buy anything made by Samsung!
Same exact problem as as VINCEM'S, but I have an HLP5063. As soon as TV is plugged in, it begins the loud humming, and sounds like some clicking. There is no picture. The only way to power off is to unplug it.
From my research, it seems to be a color wheel problem, but if anyone can give more clarity, I would appreciate it greatly.
